Frances Codene Perkins of Lindsay was born on November 15, 1942 in Bradley, Oklahoma to Oscar and Mattie (Moore) Miller and passed from this life on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 78 years.

Codene was a lifetime resident of this area. She had worked as the Office Manager for Tucker Construction before retiring. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Codene enjoyed cooking for her family and was able to cook Thanksgiving Dinner for everyone this year. She enjoyed taking classes at Mid-America Vo-Tech and had received many certificates for the classes she had taken there. She enjoyed photography, gardening, and plants. Codene was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are a son, Monnie Perkins and wife Amy of Lindsay and daughters, Karen Hudson and significant other, Gene Burrell of Lindsay and Dana Vandever of Pauls Valley.
Sisters, Carol Larabee and husband Loyd of Oklahoma City and Elaine Havens of Oklahoma City.
Grandchildren: Alyssa Perkins, Madison, Hunter, and Hayden Eubank; Amanda and Steve Hudson, and Cory Rawson; Taylor and TJ Rushing, Carli Vandever, Dalton Vandever, Erin and Morgan Ely, and Jordyn and Kyle Hinkle.
Great grandchildren: Konner Hudson and Luke Hudson; and Mora Rushing, Brent Rushing Collin Rushing, Wyatt Ely, and Jaxon Hinkle.

Codene was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mattie Miller; and two grandchildren, Travis Colt Sutton and Madison McKenzie Vandever; and brothers, Carlton Miller, Don Miller, Bob Miller, and Loren Miller.

Masks and social distancing will be in place for the services.

Graveside services will held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Bradley Cemetery with Bro. Brandon Cottrell officiating. Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to www.winansfuneralhome.com
