Travis Saxon Wollenberg was born on October 17, 1946, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Paul Wollenberg, Jr. and Leona (Travis) Wollenberg. He left this world and entered into Heaven on July 14, 2025, at the age of 78 years.
Upon completion of high school Travis continued his education at Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree. He worked many years as the Ag Teacher at Cyril Schools. But ultimately found his calling as pastor where he shared God’s word for more than 30 years.
Travis married Cheri DeArman on July 31, 1965, in Paoli, Oklahoma. (The couple would’ve celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in just a few days.) Travis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a family man who enjoyed order.
Travis was also a farmer, raising sheep and cattle. He enjoyed working and using his hands and riding horses. He enjoyed mowing and being outside.
Travis was a highly respected man, a man of his word. He was a humble man of God and he will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.
