Terry Gregory

Terry Lee Gregory, age 69, passed from this life to his next on June 7th, 2025 at Norman Regional Hospital. Terry was born August 9th, 1955 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Everett and Marie (Cox) Gregory. Terry was a 1974 graduate from Lindsay High School and has lived in Lindsay most of his life. He was a member of Erin Springs Baptist Church. A job opportunity at Beaver Express in Chickasha relocated him there for many years but he was back in Lindsay every Sunday for dinner with the folks. Retirement from Beaver Express brought him back to Lindsay.

Terry loved to travel and was able to go, see, and explore in many different states. He also enjoyed “donating” at the casinos. Terry was a “talker” and regaled with his stories, wit and humor. He was a sensitive guy, who had a talent for writing including songs. Terry was also an avid book reader, especially westerns. He always had a book with him whether in his truck or at his house. Terry was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend and we will miss him so much.

Terry is preceded in death by our parents, Everett and Marie Gregory and brother, Alfred Gregory and sister-in-law Pam Gregory. Survived by brother Larry (Shirley) Gregory and sister Reta (Dennis) Hayes as well as nephews Kees Campbell, Robert Williams, Leevon McCoy, Dock Gregory, Kaleb Trammel and nieces, Hale Deviney, Logan Kanaugh, Lauren Jeffrey, Kale Ezell and many great nieces and nephews and cousins & many friends.

We will always love you and miss you “Big T” may you rest in peace.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at Erin Springs Baptist Church. Burial at Erin Springs Cemetery under direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort can be sent to the family at: www.winansfuneralhome.com
