Suzanne Webster

Suzanne Webster of Maysville was born on December 29, 1929 in Casablanca, French Morroco to Joseph and Etoile Benyáir. She passed from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in her home at the age of 88 years.

Suzanne grew up in Casablanca where she met Robert Earl Webster and they were married there on March 6, 1946. They loved dancing during his time in the military service. She came to America at the age of 16 years and her first memory was seeing the Statue of Liberty. She then boarded a train and traveled to Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Suzanne was so proud of her citizenship of the United States of America. She was a devoted homemaker who was an excellent baker, cook, and in her younger days, a seamstress. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Suzanne will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include her son, Danny Webster and wife Sandy of Maysville.
Daughters: Martha Selman of Maysville and Denise Forkner and husband Joe Frank of Maysville.
Brother, Daniel Benyáir of Houlon, Israel and a sister, Gigi Benichow of Loude, Israel.
Grandchildren: Michelle Morphew, Shea Webster, and Ricky Cooper.
Great grandchildren: Brittany Morphew, Blaine Cooper, Dillan Morphew, Jancy Cooper, Rowdie Cooper, Tayia Cooper, and Ricky Dale Cooper.
Great-great grandchildren: Tommy Nelson Cooper, Haedyn Cooper, Lilly Clark, and Haizlee Mitchell.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Etoile Benyáir; husband, Robert Earl Webster; a grandson, Dustin Webster; brother, Maurice Benyáir; and a sister, Jacklyn Benyáir.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Winans Funeral Home, 405 Sixth Street (Hwy 19), Maysville, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday. November 16, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, Maysville, OK with Rev. Ken Murray and Bro. Eddie Wollenberg officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
