Shirley Ann Williams, dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully in Lindsay, Oklahoma on March13, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 16, 1954, Lindsay, Oklahoma to Virgil and Wanda (Wood) Hamilton. Shirley’s journey through her life was marked with love, laughter, and a genuine connection to those around her.
Shirley was instrumental in ministry with her beloved husband, John. She was a vital part of teaching children while being involved in women’s ministry at their church and also in the association where they were active. Shirley could always be counted on to make costumes for church productions, as well as, making clothing for her son, Michael and herself.
During the days when Cabbage Patch Kids were popular Shirley made a doll in the likeness of Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Danny White because Michael was such a fan of his. She built the doll and found a Dallas Cowboys shirt for it. She named it Danny Boom Boom.
Shirley was an excellent cook and baker bringing happiness to her family and friends through her cooking. She made sure to teach Michael how to cook all kinds of things which has served him well.
Most importantly, Shirley was an amazing Godly mother. She taught her family work ethic by example. She encouraged all she came in contact with to always do their best going above and beyond for others and for the Lord. Her lessons included how important it is to be prepared and ready for whatever activities she and her family were involved in. She instilled how to minister to others and think about other’s needs.
