Sharyn Lea Baker

Sharyn Lea Baker, born on July 22, 1950, returned home to her Savior on October 8, 2025, at the age of 75.

Sharyn was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and spent much of her childhood in Cyril, Oklahoma later settling in Paoli, Oklahoma, where she made her home.

Sharyn’s greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family. She loved every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—her biggest blessings. Known lovingly as “MawMaw,” she proudly attended countless school and sporting events, always cheering the loudest and supporting her family with unwavering love. She also shared many wonderful memories attending classic country concerts with her cousins, Becky and Jane. Sharyn was deeply loyal and could always be counted on to offer love, support, and encouragement—whether near or far.

A devoted Christian, Sharyn was a faithful member of Maysville Assembly of God Church for 48 years. She loved her church and church family dearly and lived her life as a true example of faith and kindness.

Sharyn will forever be loved and remembered by her daughters Stephanie Hamilton and husband Curtis of Maysville, and Kena Bratt and husband Jimmy of Chickasha. Bonus children Ronda Buck and husband Wayne of Moore, Todd Baker and wife Patti of Kingston. Her grandchildren Josh Craven, Natasha Monroe, Garet White, Dustin Craven, Tyler Buck, Dustin Baker, Alison Baker, Morgan Webb, Cade Cantrell, Nicholas Baker, Dylan Bratt, Wyatt Bratt, Cash Bratt, and Kendall Bratt; and her many beloved great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Nick Ramey, Roger Richardson, and Jeff Dickinson. And a nephew whom was more like a son, Rod Richardson. Along with numerous cherished family members and friends who were blessed by her life.

Sharyn was greeted at Heaven’s gates by her husband Ron Baker, her daughter Angie Craven, her mother Mildred Dickinson, father Leroy Richardson, her nephew Luke Richardson, and a host of other loving family members and friends who went before her.

Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2025, at The First Baptist Church in Maysville, Oklahoma.  Burial at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
