Robert "Rob" Carl Winchester

Robert Carl “Rob” Winchester was born on September 10, 1967, to Curtis and Margaret (Lindsey) Winchester in Duncan, Oklahoma. He passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 57.

Rob was a 1986 graduate of Booker High School in Booker, Texas. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Northeastern State University. In 2016, he married the love of his life, Kellie Hurst, and together they built a beautiful life centered around their two children, Olivia and Hayes. Rob considered his children one of his greatest blessings. He was a devoted, hands-on father who truly beamed with pride whenever he was with them.

An avid golfer, Rob loved spending time outdoors and sharing laughs with his golfing buddies. He was a passionate fan of all sports and enjoyed attending church as part of his weekly routine.

Rob was a loving son, husband, father, and friend. His kind spirit, warm presence, and deep love for his family touched everyone who knew him. He left this world far too soon and will be dearly missed.

Rob is survived by his wife, Kellie Winchester of The Colony, Texas; his children, Olivia and Hayes Winchester; his father, Curtis Winchester of Maysville, Oklahoma; and his brother, Richard Winchester and his wife, Holly, of Lakeway, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Winchester, and his brother, Stephen Winchester.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Purcell, Oklahoma. Burial at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
