Richard Neil "Rick" Baker, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at his home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Born on July 7, 1952, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Rick's journey through life was marked by his unwavering kindness and thoughtfulness, qualities that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his career, Rick made meaningful contributions to the community he loved. He once owned a parts store in Lindsay and later worked in purchasing at Burford's, where his friendly disposition and dedication to his work were prominent. Rick was a proud Marine Sergeant, having served his country with honor and integrity, a testament to his strong character.

Rick cherished the time spent with his family and friends, which brought him immense joy. His personality was one that drew people in; he was known for enjoying casual visits with loved ones, always ready to lend a listening ear or share a laugh. In his younger years, Rick found pleasure in working on cars and racing motorcycles and cars, even winning national races.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Baker; their son, Pete Baker and Angela of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and his brother, Doug Baker and Billie of Edmond, Oklahoma. Rick was a proud grandfather to Layla Baker, Braeden Baker, Kenzie Baker, and Bailey Bradford and Clay—his grandchildren were the light in his life. Further continuing his legacy, he also leaves behind a great-granddaughter, Anderson Bradford and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rick joins his parents, Reso and JoAnn Baker, and his late son, Royce Baker, as well as his brother, Joe Baker, in eternal rest. Their love and memories remain an enduring part of his story, reminding us of all the bonds that tie us together in this journey of life.

Rick Baker will be dearly missed, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Though he has departed from this world, his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those he touched throughout his life.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Church of Christ in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Burial at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
