Reda Don McKenzie

Reda Don McKenzie was born on August 13, 1934, in Antioch, Oklahoma to Emsley and Dollie (Davis) Sanders. She passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 4, 2025, at the age of 90 years.

Reda Don was a lifelong resident of the Maysville area. She worked many years as an aide at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Reda Don was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Reda Don enjoyed sewing, crochet, needlepoint, and dancing. She was a member of The Foundation Church.

Reda Don will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.

The family would like to send a special thank you to granddaughter Kalyn (Robert), adoptive grandson Shem Weisner, and Sabrina, Torie, Jo, and A Path of Care Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Reda Don.

Reda Don is survived by: daughters: Connie Lamb, Shela Alexander, and Charity Tompkins; sons: Earl Ricky Page and Robbie Scott; grandchildren: Misty Page, Annie Potts, Jamie Page, Melissa Lamb, and Kalyn Williams; and 10 great grandchildren.

Reda Don is preceded in death by: parents, Emsley and Dollie Sanders; late husbands, Doc Tompkins and Frank McKenzie; brothers: Earl Sanders and his wife Lucille, Jack Sanders and an infant brother; and grandson, Mark Lamb.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2025, at The Foundation Church in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial at Maysville Cemtery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
