Raylene Fern Selman was born in Garden City, Kansas on October 7, 1951 to Ray Odell and Lucille (Ratliff) Odell. She passed from this life peacefully surrounded by family on May 2, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Raylene had a servants-heart, she cared for people and their well-being. She did this through her valuable work as a Registered Nurse for over 33 years.
Raylene loved her family especially her children and grandchildren who were so dear to her heart. She enjoyed being outdoors fishing and going four-wheeling.
Raylene enjoyed her cats she cared for that would join her as she binge watched Netflix. She was also one for a good visit with friends and family. Her daughters were very important to her and the enjoyment she shared with them when they traveled made precious memories in her mind.
Those left to cherish and continue Raylene’s legacy are her daughters; Charissa Hannabass and husband Scott of Dibble, OK, Ambra Napier and husband Mike of Valley, Alabama, and Rachel “Libby” Jennings and husband Brad of Lindsay, OK.
Grandchildren; Skye Strouhal, Ashton Strader, Logan Hannabass, Tracey Cox, Sterling Gunter, Serenity Hannabass, Ainsley Napier and Conner Napier.
Nephews; Levi Giles, Freddie Cowan, Jr. and wife Jennifer.
Sister, Donna Mapes of Monahans, TX
Preceding her in death are her father, Ray Odell along with her husband of 31 years, David McKinzie and her husband of 13 years Larry Selman.
Services for Raylene will be held at 2:00 p.m., Graveside at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Pastor Dale Thorne will officiate.
