Pauline Maye Matheson, born on December 30, 1947, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Marvin and Daisy (Green) Harrington. She peacefully passed away in her home in Bradley, Oklahoma, on May 16, 2026, at the age of 78.

On August 24, 1963, Pauline married the love of her life, Edwin Matheson, in Phoenix, Arizona. Their lifelong bond was a testament to true partnership, a foundation of love and support. Edwin stood by her side through the years, sharing joys and challenges with steadfast devotion. Together, they raised a family that she treasured above all else—her proudest accomplishment.

Pauline was the rock and the glue that held her family together. Her love for her children, Marvin, Mary Nita and Victoria, was immeasurable, and she took immense pride in watching them flourish. Her heart grew bigger with the addition of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

To her family, she was more than a mother, wife, or sister—she was a comforting presence in times of uncertainty and a beacon of unconditional love.

Pauline is survived by: loving husband, Edwin Matheson; daughters: Mary Nita Smith and Mark of Moore, Oklahoma and Victoria Mainka of Bradley, Oklahoma; sister, Charlene Davidson and Ronald of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Michael Rayburn, Christopher Mainka, Edwin Mainka, and Aaron Henderson; great grandchildren: Daisy Mainka, Tyan Martinez, Jesse Mainka, and Jax Clausen; and host of other family members that will miss her.

Pauline is preceded in death by: parents, Marvin and Daisy Harrington; son, Marvin Matheson; sisters: Marlene Havens and Juanita Havens; and grandchild, Jordan Matheson.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Bradley Community Center in Bradley, Oklahoma. Services for cremation are under the direction of John W.
