Patsy Ann Quire of Lindsay was born on December 1, 1934 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Coyt and Earline (Bennight) Thomas. She passed from this life on Monday, March 22, 2021 in Lindsay at the age of 86 years old.

Patsy was a 1953 graduate of Marlow High School. She moved to Lindsay at the age of 19 years old. She was married to Jim Whitt, Sr. and to this union four children were born, Jimmy, Beth, Jana, and Joe. Patsy was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. Family was always a priority to her and she loved her mother-in-law, Mazie Whitt like her own mother. She helped in the family farming operation where they raised broomcorn. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and league bowling in Lindsay. Patsy married Robert Quire on June 17, 1977. She was a member of the Murray Hill Church of Christ for 41 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Her survivors include her husband, Robert of Rochester, New York. Daughters, Beth Ann Anderson and husband Parkie of Alex; and Jana Whitt of Lindsay. Son, Joe Whitt and wife April of Shawnee. Daughter-in-law, Karan Whitt of Temple, Texas.

Stepson, David Clark of Mustang and stepdaughters Kathy Mauldin and husband Rusty of Rochester, New York and Georgia Clark.

Brother, Larry Dale Thomas and wife Gloria of Canyon, Texas.

Grandchildren: Nicole Bauman and husband Nathan, Courtney Green and husband Shamar, Hailey Dunn and husband James, Kyle Whitt, Casey Whitt, Lauryn Whitt, Brian Whitt and wife Katie, Eric Whitt and wife Rene, Johnathan Whitt and wife Demeree.

Great grandchildren: Kade Bauman, Brooklyn Green, Dru Anderson, Parker Anderson, Taylor Barnes, Ethan Whitt, Isabell Whitt, Lily Whitt, Jamison Whitt, Patrick Whitt, Tylee Whitt, Owen Whitt, and Hudson Whitt. Great-great grandson, Josiah Jones.

Step-grandchildren: Robert Clark, Michelle Heijl and husband Larry, Kim Mauldin and husband Jay Nolde, Joe Zurline, Amy DeMarco and husband John and four great-great step-grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Coyt and Earline Thomas; son, Jim Whitt, and granddaughter Laura Decassio.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Purdy Cemetery with John W. Williams officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhom.com
