Michael Robert Pettyjohn

Michael Robert Pettyjohn was born on January 9, 1948, to Bill and Helen (McGuire) Pettyjohn in Wichita Falls, Texas, and passed away on December 4, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years.

After graduating high school, Michael enlisted in the Army where he served just short of 3 years, serving his country in the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic, and also received numerous commendations.  Michael then furthered his education to become an accountant.  

Michael enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching Westerns and crime shows.  He also loved his dogs and enjoyed their company.

Survived by: daughter, Erin Johnson and Nick of Lindsay, Oklahoma; sister, Tollie Pettyjohn of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren: Silas Johnson, Henry Johnson, and Wyatt Johnson.
