Matthew “Matt” Lynn Williams was born on February 4, 1978, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Dwight and Lulyn (Norvill) Williams and passed away on March 11, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 46 years.
Matt was a 1996 graduate of Lindsay High School. After graduation Matt stayed in Lindsay and continued working for the family’s ranch. Ranching made him happy, and he met many people doing what he loved. Those people would become his friends.
Matt was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He was a man of his word and a man of great integrity. Matt had a heart as big as he was and he never met a stranger. He had a soft spot for all babies and kids and treated them like his own.
Matt was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Nothing brought greater joy to Matt than his family. Matt will be deeply missed.
Survived by: his wife, Jamie Allison of Lindsay, Oklahoma; parents, Dwight and Lulyn Williams of Lindsay, Oklahoma; sons: Bo Wayne Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jacob Trammell of Lindsay, Oklahoma; daughters: Arica Louise Williams of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Maddy Bill Williams of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Brooklyn Nunley of Lindsay, Oklahoma; brother: Bryan Williams and Tiffany of Maysville, Oklahoma; grandson, Lucas Lee Ledbetter; nephews: Cade Williams and Cooper Williams.
Preceded by: grandparents: Lindell and Louise Norvill and Herb and Geraldine Williams.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 18, 2024, at the REC Multi-Purpose Building in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Bro. Todd Martin officiating. Burial at the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
