Mary Ann Cobb Henderson

Mary Ann Cobb Henderson of Maysville was born on February 9, 1964 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Roy Cobb and Mary Lou (Schrader) Vinson and passed from this life on Monday, March 4, 2019 in her home, north of Maysville at the age of 55 years.

Ann moved from Purcell to Maysville 30 years ago. She did upholstery work for 28 years and was a perfectionist. She joined the Purcell Round-Up Club in 1975 and was voted Queen of the Round-Up Club in 1976. Afer being away for a few years, Ann rejoined the Round-Up Club in 2013, she loved her club family and riding whenever she could barrel race. She loved her grandchildren and teaching them to ride horses. She enjoyed being a den mother for the Boy Scout Troop in which her boys were members. During Halloween she enjoyed the “Haunted Barn”, something her family put on for the community. Ann liked to see people enjoy themselves. She married Tim Henderson on April 2, 2008 in Pauls Valley. She was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her husband, Tim of the home.
Mother, Mary Lou Vinson of Wanette.
Daughter, Troi Hornbuckle and Chess Elliott of Goldsby.
Sons: Brandon Woody and wife Amber of Drumright; Mark Hornbuckle of Maysville; Billy Hornbuckle and wife Cindy of Noble; and step-sons, Samuel Henderson and T. J. Henderson.
Brother, Kenny Cobb and wife Viola of Lexington.
Sisters: Donna Cobb of Washington, OK and Krista Vinson of Oklahoma.
9 grandchildren

Ann was preceded in death by her father, Roy Cobb.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Purcell Multi-Purpose Center, 1400 Chandler Park Road, Purcell, OK with Bro. Dove Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Purcell under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
