Mark Anthony Fowler of Sasakwa, OK was born on September 21, 1960 in Pauls Valley, OK to James Randel and Marcill (Moore) Fowler. He passed from this life on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home in Sasakwa at the age of 58 years.
Mark moved to Sasakwa in 2000, coming from Smithville, OK where he had lived many years. He attended Smithville High School where he graduated in 1978. Mark was self-employed working as a truck driver and carpenter during his working years.
Mark married Duana Parker on March 14, 1979 in Clarksville, TX. He loved his family and enjoyed getting together whenever it was possible. His family was extremely important to him. Mark enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending races. In younger years he was an avid outdoorsman and could often times be found in the woods hunting. As he grew older carpentry became his passion and he enjoyed time spent in his shop building pieces of furniture for friends and family. Mark loved his dog Monster who could frequently be found by his side. Being a cowboy and loving the cowboy lifestyle, Mark enjoyed and was a huge fan of Lonesome Dove. The character of Gus seemed to speak to Mark as he was his favorite personality in the movie. Mark loved music and was a self-described guitar picker. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing songs at family gatherings or whenever the notion came about to play. He was very supportive of everyone no matter who they were and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His survivors include his wife Duana Evonne Fowler of the home.

Daughters, Krystal Evonne Boling and husband Barry of Sasakwa, OK, Marci Joann Davis and husband Timmy of Sasakwa, OK and Angel Marie Wheeler and husband Brian of Konawa, OK.
Sister, Velaria Jo Fowler of Smithville, OK.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, James Randel Fowler and his brother, James David Fowler.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Octavia Cemetery Pavilion in Smithville, OK with Bro. Bill Chesser officiating.
