Lowell Arthur Pryor

Lowell Arthur Pryor of Duncan was born on April 13, 1939 in Buffalo, Missouri to Roscoe and Lexie (Taylor) Pryor. He passed from this life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 83 years.

Lowell graduated from Granite High School and went straight to The US Navy in 1957. He served 10 years and spent most of his time on aircraft carriers transporting planes. During his working years, he worked as a heating and air conditioning technician for Johnson Controls. Lowell enjoyed working and one time he even raised ostriches. He loved his wife so much that he married her twice and they were together a total of 28 years. He loved his family dearly and spending time with them. Lowell enjoyed motorcycling and taking trips during his younger years. Sadie was his pomeranian sidekick and she followed him everywhere. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Stevens of the home; daughter, Lori McKee of Duncan; son, Marc Pryor of Carthage, Texas; sister, Fannie Belle of Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Lowell was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Hodge; brother, Robert Pryor; and a sister, Paulita Murphy.
