Louise Clark

Marylion “Louise” Clark was born on March 30, 1940, in Bakersfield, California to Harvey and Lois Dutton. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 3, 2025, in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.

Louise married Arvel Clark on August 17, 1960. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family brought her great happiness; she was proud of them and she always wanted to provide for them. Louise was an excellent cook and she found joy in cooking for her family. Louise also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and canning.

Louise will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Louise is survived by: devoted husband, Arvel “Buddy” Clark; children: Leonard Clark and Tesha of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Arvel Clark and Karen of Noble, Oklahoma, and Tina Shaffer and Joe of Lindsay, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Summer and Carson Cameron, Jason and Audrea Clark, Buddy and Chelsea Ince, Terry and Nicole Canfield, Travis and Mary Canfield, Shannon Clark, Kristina and Daniel Haggard, Steven and Shannon Shaffer; and great grandchildren: Isaac, Zaiden, Harvey, Kenzie, Kaylee, Khole, Grace, Payton, Christopher, Xavier, Alexus, Zarek, Layne, Levi, Dylan, Sabastian, Elizabeth, Rubi, EJ, and Phillip.

Louise was preceded in death by: son, Charles Ray Clark; parents, Harvey and Lois Dutton; stepmother, Julie Dutton; twin brother, Luis Dutton and brother, Allen Dutton; and sisters: Carolyn King and Wanda Joyce.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
