Linda Maureen Hinkle, born on August 17, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, peacefully passed away at her home in Lindsay, Oklahoma, on November 25, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family.

Linda’s love and kindness touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know her. A proud mother and devoted wife, Linda cherished her 59 years of marriage to her husband, Bobby Joe Hinkle. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. As a family woman, she placed her loved ones at the heart of everything she did, for they were her world.

Linda’s passions brought joy to her and those around her. An ardent horse lover, she proudly earned 2nd place in the 1977 AQHA World Championship Show (Quarter Horse Halter) in Oklahoma City, OK, showcasing her talent and dedication to horses. Her love for animals extended to all creatures. She also had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors, particularly the serene beauty of Lake Texoma, where many treasured memories were made. Gardening was another of her beloved hobbies; she took great pride in growing roses along with other flowers. Linda also had a love for sports, especially since her children were actively involved. In 1978, she was one of the founding members of the Football Mothers Club at Lindsay High School, a group that thrived for many years and continued even after her children graduated. Her commitment reflected not only her support for her family but also her dedication to the community.

Holidays were a special time for Linda, with Christmas being her favorite. She delighted in spending the season with those she loved. The festive spirit ignited her joy as she lovingly prepared for gatherings filled with warmth and laughter. As a Christian woman, Linda found solace in reading her Bible, drawing strength from her faith throughout her life.

In every dance she shared, every flower she tended, and every story she told, Linda Maureen Hinkle will forever be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.
