Laura "Lori" Ann Staring

Laura “Lori” Ann Staring passed away on September 1, 2026, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, at the age of 57. Born on February 9, 1969, Lori will be remembered with love for her devotion to her family, her pride in her work, and the warmth she shared with those around her.

Lori worked as a custodian at Lindsay Public School, where she enjoyed her work and took great pride in all she did. She loved keeping Lindsay Schools as clean as possible, and her dedication was reflected in the care she gave each day. Her work was important to her, and she approached it with commitment and heart.

Outside of work, Lori found joy in the things she loved most. She loved her dog, FiFi, and she also loved her car. More than anything, she was a great supporter of her family. Her sons were her pride and joy, and she loved her grandchildren dearly. Known as Mimi to a lot of children, Lori made an impression through her affection, encouragement, and the steady love she gave so freely.

She is survived by her sons, Christian “CJ” Kueneman of North Dakota and Lonnie Kueneman of Florida; her brothers, Rodney Staring of Lindsay, Oklahoma and David Staring of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Aubrey Kueneman, Bentley Kueneman, Korbyn Kueneman, and Raynee Kueneman; and special friends who were also a part of her family. Each of them was an important part of her life, and the love she shared with her family will remain a lasting blessing to them.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Danny Staring; her mother, Linda (Womack) Gordon; her brother, Bobby Womack; and her grandchild, Raiden Kueneman.

Lori will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, her love for her family, and the special place she held in the lives of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished always.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Lindsay High School auditorium. Burial to follow at Purdy Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
