Lana Kathryn Helm

Lana Kathryn Helm, age 52, of Maysville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

A devoted daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin, Lana lived with heart and grace. She found her greatest joy in life’s simple and beautiful things—her family, her farm, and her animals.

Born on October 4, 1972, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, Lana grew up with a deep love for the land. She enjoyed designing and making jewelry, cooking treasured family recipes, and studying God’s word with quiet devotion.

Above all, Lana adored her family.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Helm of Maysville; her sister, Nyree Shawn, and husband Colby of Bridgeport, Texas; niece, Skylar Ingram, and husband Zack of Bowie, Texas; nephew, Cole Shawn, and wife Sarah of Justin, Texas; great-nephews Riggs, Knox, and Jaxon; great-niece Miller Ella; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, C.C. (Bud) Helm; grandparents, Alva and Jerry Russell; and grandmother, Fay Crawford.

Lana will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in every sunrise, every cat’s purr, and every cherished memory shared by those who loved her.

A private family service will be held to honor Lana’s life.
