Kelli LaNell Patton

Kelli LaNell Patton was born on November 6, 1981 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Rodney Smith and LaDonna “Skeeter” (Stewart) Smith. She passed away on May 26, 2025, in Bradley, Oklahoma at the age of 43 years.

Kelli attended Lindsay Public School and graduated from Lindsay High School in 2000. Kelli was a fantastic athlete, and loved sports, especially softball. She played softball her whole life and loved every bit of it from being a Jaybird, all the way to being a leopardette in high school. She made countless friendships and memories on the field, some of her favorite memories were being back to back state champions in 1999 & 2000.

After graduation, she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at East Central University. She then went on to work at Lindsay Municipal Hospital as a surgical nurse. Kelli loved her job and the many patients she took care of.

Kelli was a perfectionist from an early age. She enjoyed early morning workouts and doing anything outside during the summer. Kelli was a lover of music and concerts of any kind, but she especially loved Aerosmith and Steven Tyler. She also never missed a chance to karaoke “Delta Dawn”. Kelli loved celebrating birthdays and holidays with her kids, and always made them special and went all out.

Kelli was a loving daughter, friend, sister, and most importantly mother. Kelli’s children were her world and she loved being their mom. Kelli loved her family and friends and she will be missed dearly.

Kelli is survived by parents: Rodney and Ladonna “Skeeter” Smith of Lindsay, Oklahoma; Daughter, Lexi Patton of Ada, Oklahoma; Son, Klayton Patton of Lindsay, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Freida Smith; maternal grandfather, L C Stewart; Brother Trapper Smith and Krystle of Lindsay, Oklahoma; Sister, Jaime Bingham of Lindsay, Oklahoma; Nephews: Kutter Smith and Kase Smith; and Niece, Jaden Smith.

Kelli is preceded in death by: Brother-in-Law, Brad Bingham; Maternal Grandmother, Lena Mae Stewart and Paternal Grandfather Cecil Smith.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Erin Springs Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
