Kandis Renee Carter of Lindsay was born on October 20, 1970 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to David William Neill and LaRita Leona (Dorman) Junk. She passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 in her home at the age of 49 years.
Kandis moved to Lindsay when she was in the seventh grade and graduated from Lindsay High School in 1988. She was a homemaker who was also a “Super Mom”. She was a very loving and caring person who loved her family deeply. Kandis enjoyed being a softball mom, spending time at the lake, snow skiing, and photography, both as a hobby and professional. She married Charles Carter on October 5, 2013 at Wallville. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are husband, Charles of the home.
Parents: David Neill of Lindsay and LaRita Junk and husband Jim Junk of Lindsay.
Sons, Kurtis Barnes and Parker Barnes, both of Lindsay.
Daughter, Hannah Barnes of Lindsay.
Step-children: C. Steven Carter, Jr. of Austin, Texas and Christy Knippers of Spring Hill, Louisiana.
Brother, Eric Neill and wife Melanie of Lindsay.
Step-sisters, Jennifer Junk of Guthrie and Katie Johnston and husband Doug of Yukon.
Step-grandchildren: Shelbi, Skye, and Caden Zaruba of Spring Hill, Louisiana.
Special adopted daughters, Miranda and Shelbi and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Kandis’ Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the REC Multipurpose Building, North Highway 76, Lindsay, OK with Bev Barker officiating.
