Jerry Dale Cudd

Jerry Dale Cudd of Lindsay was born on November 9, 1941in Bradley, Oklahoma to J. D. and Frances (Norton) Cudd. He passed from this life on Monday, May 17, 2021 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Jerry lived in Lindsay all of his life. He married Theda Dover on September 24, 1960 in Gainesville, Texas. He worked as a lineman supervisor for Rural Electric Cooperative. Jerry loved his family and the quality time they spend together. He enjoyed watching the grandchildren play ballgames. He was known to be a prankster. Jerry also enjoyed deer camp, collecting old farm equipment, going to auctions, garage sales, and flea markets with his brother, Walter. He was always a great help when he worked for Garvin County District 1 yard. He loved his candy bars, ice cream, and Dr. Pepper. Jerry was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Maysville. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Theda of the home.
Sons: Roger Cudd and wife Lori of Purcell and Bryan Cudd and wife Dian of Elgin.
Brother, Walter Cudd and wife Judy of Lindsay.
Sister, Betty Cudd of Midland, Texas.
Sister-in-law, Linda Cudd of Midland, Texas.
Grandchildren: Emily, Jeremy, Jill, Jessica, Taylor, Kyle, and Ariel.
Great grandchildren: Jaylon, Amelia, Lillian, Gweneth, Evan, Mel, and Kellen.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, J. D. and Frances Cudd; and a brother, Robert Cudd.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hughes Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
