Janice Laquita "Micky" Miller

Janice Laquita “Micky” Miller was born on January 29, 1936, in Purdy, Oklahoma to J.B. and Mamie (John) Adams. She passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida at the age of 89 years.

Micky was a graduate of Hughes School. On March 28, 1954, she married Bob Miller and the two were married for 51 years at the time of his passing in 2005. The couple have two daughters, Debbie and Vicky. In 1979, the couple moved to Yukon and most recently Micky had moved to New Port Richey, Florida. Micky was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed puzzles and was a league bowler. Micky also enjoyed working in the church where she was active in Sunbeams and GAs.

Micky will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Micky is survived by: daughters: Debbie Hamar and Brian of Fairview, Oklahoma and Vicky Delozier and Steve of New Port Richey, Florida; sister, Patricia Coatney of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren: Brady Hamar and Haylee, Nick Hamar and Kacy, Ashlee Bernard and Robert, Whitney Bennett and Rob, Aaron Delozier and Lindsay, April Bitner, and Adam Delozier; and great grandchildren: Braxton Hamar and Johnna, Hudson Hamar, Jax Bernard, Easton Hamar, Teagan Hamar, Bentlee Bernard, Harlee Hamar, Zane Bernard, Tynlee Hamar, Darbee Hamar, Royce Bennett, Riggs Bennett, Kylie Delozier, Korbin Delozier, Liviah Williams, Maddison Delozier, and Gunnar Bitner.

Micky is preceded in death by: her parents, J. B. and Mamie Adams; husband, Bob Miller; brothers: Raymond Adams and Tutt Adams; and sisters, Viola Hincley and Jewell Underwood.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 4, 2025, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial at Bradley Cemetery in Bradley, Oklahoma under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent the family on this website.
