Jacquelyn Joan Oliver

Jacquelyn Joan Colen-Oliver, a devoted teacher and loving mother, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Jacquelyn best known as "Jackie or Jackie Jo" was born on October 29, 1952, in Harrah, Oklahoma to Jack and Peggy (Greeson) Farmer. Jackie lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a deep commitment to those around her.

Throughout her career as a teacher, Jackie demonstrated an unwavering dedication to helping children thrive. Her heart of gold shone through in every lesson she taught and every child she supported. Even when circumstances made it difficult, her desire to assist others never waned. Those who knew her remember her as a compassionate soul who put the needs of others before her own.

Jackie's love extended far beyond the classroom. She was a devoted member of The People's Church, where she found joy in participating in various activities, Bible study, and the sisterhood at the church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Jackie loved cheering for OU football and the OKC Thunder. She also found happiness in riding her horse and caring for her beloved dogs. These pastimes brought her great comfort and pleasure throughout her years.

Family was the center of Jackie's world. She deeply loved her children—her son, Joey, and her daughter, Jacie —as well as her grandchildren, and her nieces. Jacquelyn’s spirit lives on through her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

Jackie's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit remains forever imprinted on the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

Jackie is survived by: son, Joey Terry and Amy of Maysville, Oklahoma; daughter, Jacie Kirby and Donnie of Sulphur, Oklahoma; stepchildren: Robert Oliver, Richard Oliver, and Barbie Oliver: brothers: Micheal Farmer and Terri of Choctaw, Oklahoma and Steven Farmer and Sheila of Luther, Oklahoma; sisters: Robin Farmer and Peggy Lea Dixon; grandchildren: Bryan Kirby, Kacie Parenti, Chase Terry, Jasper Terry, Zachery Kirby, Tyler Kirby, and Jacob Kirby; and great grandchildren: Arthur Terry, Korbin Parenti, Kallen Parenti, Kasten Parenti, Brogan Parenti, Payzlee Kirby, Gunner Kirby, Braydon Kirby, and Maverycc Kirby.
