Jackson "Jack" Clark Reynolds

Jackson Clark “Jack” Reynolds of Maysville was born on July 25, 1931 in Hesperia, Michigan to Mert and Dewie (Markley) Reynolds and he passed from this life on Friday, March 30, 2018 in his home at the age of 86 years.Jack grew up in Hesperia, Michigan where he graduated from Hesperia High School in 1949. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Zola Mae McGuire on December 5, 1953 in Crescent, Oklahoma. They moved to Maysville in 1955 where Jack went to work for Sinclair Oil Company as a roustabout and truck driver. He and Zola Mae had one son, Randy, who was their pride and joy and Jack always enjoyed watching Randy drive race cars. Jack loved his family and spending time with his granddaughters and great granddaughters. He enjoyed spending time with his brother in Michigan, watching Michigan football and basketball, playing golf, and was a pool shark. He was a very meticulous man and you could tell by looking at him and his vehicles. Jack was a big jokester and had countless friends that he loved and he never met a stranger. He was a member the Kiwanis Club, Quarterback Club, and the First United Methodist Church where he was an alternate board member. Jack will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.His survivors include his wife of 64 years, Zola Mae of the home.Daughter-in-law, Jodie Reynolds of Maysville.Granddaughters: Lacy Pryor and husband Jason of Noble; and Mallory Kowalski and husband Joe of Newark, Delaware.Great granddaughters: Lexy Pryor and Mya Pryor, and Millie Mae Kowalski.Brother, Frank Reynolds of Kalamazoo, Michigan.Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Mert and Dewie Reynolds; his son, Randy Reynolds; and sisters, Vergine Sherman and Caroline Herin.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, Maysville with Bro. Mike Deviney and Glenn Menser officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
