Herbert Leyon Edmunds was born on January 26, 1932, in Yanush, Oklahoma to Henry Earl Edmunds and Thelma Daisy (Morris) Edmunds. He passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Bro. Nick Johnson officiating. Burial to follow at Purdy Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
