Freida May Guinn

Freida May Guinn of Lindsay was born on May 25, 1935 in Cairo, Oklahoma to Bertlo Benjamin Lambert and Arlie O’Deat (Ennis) Lambert. She passed from this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 84 years.

Freida graduated from Coalgate High School in 1953 and later attended nursing classes. She married Buster Jefferson Guinn on January 22, 1955. She moved from Ada to Lindsay in 2002. She was a devoted homemaker who loved her family, including 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Freida was very detailed and an excellent planner. She loved sending cards for any occasion and when you gave her gift it would come back to you two-fold. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and was an avid reader. Freida was an excellent cook and loved to share her recipes and teach her grandchildren. She was a member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her church and the fellowship of other Christians. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Her survivors include her son, William Guinn and wife Brenda of South Jordan, Utah. Daughters: Gaylene White and husband James of Blanchard; Beth Ramer and husband William of Mustang; and Dianne Guinn of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Brother, Alvin Lambert and wife Judy of Bridge Creek.
Grandchildren: Malesa Allred, Melinda Guinn, Jennifer Frazier, Joy Anne White, Isabella Ramer and Jacob Ramer.
Great grandchildren: Maisen Allred, Emerie Allred, Isabel Lopez, and Gabriel Guinn.
And a host of other relatives.

Freida was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Arlie Lambert; husband, Buster Guinn; brothers, Willis Lambert and Billy Lambert; and sisters, Marie Davenport and Fay Fulton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, Purcell with Elder Mike Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the McGee Cemetery, Stratford under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
