Floyd Hilderbrandt

Floyd Edward Hilderbrandt of Lindsay was born on May 31, 1943 in Oklahoma City to Loren Eugene and Amogean (Ramsey) Hilderbrandt. He passed from this life on Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Lindsay at the age of 78 years.

Floyd had made Lindsay his home since 1950. He graduated in 1962 from Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. In 1975 Floyd married the love of his life, Rosaline Smith in Chickasha and with this union came 3 children. He loved his family and making memories with them. He was an owner/operator of his own oilfield business who worked tank trucks and run dozers. Floyd was a very adventurous man who enjoyed scuba diving, prospecting for gold, and using his metal detector to search for other treasures. He was also a very talented man who made knives. He enjoyed doing yard work, going striper fishing, playing his guitar, and collecting coins and other things. Floyd will be dearly missed by his family.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his wife of 47 years, Rosaline of the home. Daughter, Tammy Allison of Lindsay; sons: James Hilderbrandt and wife Donna of Lindsay, Phillip Hilderbrandt of Lindsay.
Grandchildren: Ashlynn Gosnell, Lauren Carlton, Blake Hilderbrandt, Rose Hilderbrandt, Christian Hilderbrandt, and 8 great grandchildren.
Sister, Sharon Sublette and husband Jerry of Lindsay.

Floyd was preceded in death by both parents; nephew, Jason Sublette; sister, Beverly Eubanks; and son-in-law, Rodney Beverly.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams, Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
