Dwight Lynn Williams passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Born on November 8, 1949, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Herbert and Bessie (Sublette) Williams, Dwight lived most of his life in Lindsay.

A proud 1968 graduate of Lindsay High School, Dwight established a career in pipeline and trucking with Wagoners Trucking. He lived for the travel that came with his work, embracing the adventures associated with the pipeline. Known for his love of storytelling, he often recounted his experiences of hay baling and truck driving, captivating those around him with his tales.

In his leisure time, Dwight found joy in catfishing by the river and relished a good drink of whiskey, often enjoying these activities with friends and family.

Dwight will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Dwight is survived by his son, Bryan Williams and Tiffany of Maysville; his sisters, Kathleen Reese of Phoenix, Arizona and Robin Staggs and Steve of Lindsay; and his beloved grandchildren, Arica Louise Hines and Cole of Elmore City, Bo Williams of Oklahoma City, Maddy Williams of Lindsay, and Cade Williams and Cooper Williams of Maysville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Bessie Williams; his son, Matt Williams; his brother, Charles Williams; and his sister, Virginia English.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Bradley Cemetery. Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
