Denise Ann Weldon

December 11, 1956 — December 24, 2022

Denise Ann (Robinson) Weldon of Maysville, Oklahoma was born on December 11, 1956, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to James “Buck” Robinson and Mary Aline (Lane) Robinson. She peacefully went to be with Jesus while surrounded by her family on December 24, 2022.

Denise grew up in Maysville where she graduated from Maysville High School in 1975. She was involved in banking, owned a flower shop and spent many years running the Snack Shack. She loved all the kids that came through her doors and took great delight in serving them.

Whether she was driving around in the pasture checking on her cows, baking her famous sugar cookies or boldly praying for the needs of others, her servant’s heart was evident in every task or interaction. In these interactions she always yielded to the Holy Spirit’s guidance by meeting people right where they were in their walk or struggle. She never met a stranger, and her warm nature was simply infectious, drawing many into her circle of love and care. She loved so deeply and brought our savior’s love to others each day. She practiced this unwavering faith as an active member of the Abundant Love Fellowship. Her exuberant spirit and love of sharing the gospel will be dearly missed by her family and friends within her church, community and beyond.

Second only to her faith, was her dedication to her family. She married Bill Weldon on May 23, 1998, at Abundant Love Fellowship in Maysville. She was a dedicated Wife, Mother and Nana. She cherished her time with her children and grandchildren and loved supporting their many activities. Being their biggest cheerleader at their various sporting events was a title she wore proudly. Many of her grandchildren are Washington Warriors. Once they started playing sports, she quickly became Nana to all their teammates, coaches and friends. Support was one of the many ways she expressed her love for everyone. Family time with members both blood and chosen at reunions and gatherings were highly valued by Denise. She believed in creating memories to last a lifetime with those you love most. Today we are so thankful for those memories and her investment in creating them.

Her survivors include son Nick J. Andrews and wife Lacee of Washington, Oklahoma; daughters Holley Andrews McKay and husband Paul of Washington, Oklahoma and Kari Andrews McCargish and husband Colt of Washington, Oklahoma; Bonus son Jeff Weldon and wife Laura of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Bonus daughter Traci Weldon Ballard and husband Matt of Claremore, Oklahoma; grandchildren Zachary, Justin and Kaytin McKay; Nicholas, Cash and Bella Andrews; Robinson, Rylan and Klaire Haxel; Ace McCargish; Jordan and Brooke Weldon; Kizer, Keaton and Matthijs Ballard; Haylie Stroud Crawford and husband Patrick; Sister Marylyn Haynes of Washington, Oklahoma; brothers Randy Robinson and wife Beverly of Wayne, Oklahoma; and P.
