Deborah Gladys Hogan-Darling

Deborah “Debby” Gladys Hogan-Darling, 76, passed away at her home in Blanchard, Oklahoma, on August 29, 2026. She was born on July 9, 1950, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Robert and Frances (Pugh) Nunn.

Debby was truly one of a kind. She lived life in her own unmistakable way, with a spirit that was bold, colorful, and unforgettable. Her filter was entirely her own, and in many ways, she simply did not have one. That honesty, that spark, and that lively presence made her deeply loved by those who knew her. She could be a wild, hot mess in the most endearing sense, bringing laughter, surprise, and a sense that life around her would never be dull.

Debby was a horticulturist whose good work ethic showed in the life she built and in the care she gave to the things she loved. She loved her home and took great pride in caring for it; it was her sanctuary, a place that reflected her heart and the comfort she created for those around her. Debby took exceptional care of the outside of the home as well, there are beautiful flowers, bushes and trees that she spent countless hours handcrafting them to perfection. Above all, Debby loved her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she was also a mom to all of the kids’ friends, opening her life and her heart in a way that made others feel welcomed and cared for.

Among the memories her family will hold close are the shopping trips she took with her girls to Grapevine, Texas. Those outings were filled with surprises, gifts, and the kind of joy that becomes part of a family’s story forever. They were moments of togetherness that captured Debby’s generous and spirited nature.

Debby married Charley Hogan. He was the greatest love of her life and the father of their four children. He passed away on August 12, 2002. Before his death he built Debby a home with a book and his own two hands making sure she would always have a home. Debby lived there until her passing. Debby later found love and married Gary Darling, he preceded her in death on July 5, 2026. She carried the sorrow of losing two husbands. Their bonds remained an important part of her life, and she now follows them in rest.

Debby is survived by: son, Bo Hogan and Cami of Moore, Oklahoma: daughters: Angie Clark and Paul David of Dibble, Oklahoma, Missy Madden and Dennis of Dibble, Oklahoma, and Tonya Keeler and Justin Harpole of Dibble, Oklahoma; brother, Robbie Nunn; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charley Hogan and Gary Darling, and by her parents, Robert “Boss” Nunn and Frances Nunn.

Debby will be remembered with love for her fierce devotion to family, her unmistakable personality, and the warmth she created in her home and in the lives of those around her. Her presence was singular, her love was real, and her memory will remain a cherished blessing.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial to follow at Dibble Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
