David Rhea Wollitz

David Rhea Wollitz of Newcastle was born January 23, 1958 in Big Spring, Texas to Roland and Beth (Bristo) Wollitz. David passed from this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

David grew up in south Texas, and graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy in 1976. He retired as a pipefitter for the National Automatic Sprinkler Industry and enjoyed a second career as the Manager of the West Franklin Sod Farm in Norman. David enjoyed spending time with Angelia, neighbors, friends and family. Hobbies included boating, riding his Harley, reading, grilling and playing with his airedale terrier, Casey. He loved spending time at the lake house on Texoma. He attended First Baptist Church in Newcastle.

Survivors include Angelia, of the home, a sister, Laurie Sellers and her husband Steve of Houston, Texas. He also leaves two nephews, Sawyer and Shannon; two nieces, Shelby and Tyler; a great nephew, Colton and a great niece, Corianne . 

David was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Beth Wollitz.
