David "Dean" Perry

David “Dean” Perry, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. He was born on September 15, 1949, in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Dean dedicated his professional life to hard work, and he was known for his strong work ethic. Yet it was not just work that defined him; his true spirit shone through in the stories he shared—tales filled with humor, wisdom, and the warmth. Dean was a great storyteller at heart; he had a way of making even the simplest moments feel significant.

He had an immense love for the outdoors, finding joy in the quiet solace of nature and the thrill of fishing. Dean also enjoyed going to the casino and watching wrestling.

Above all, Dean cherished his family, making every effort to spend precious time together whenever possible.

Dean will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Dean is survived by: son, David Perry of Lindsay, Oklahoma; daughters, Christie Perry of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Misty Perry of Texas; brother, Davis Perry of Lindsay, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Scotty and Destini Perry; and great-grandchildren, Haylynn, Carter, Jaxon, and Everleigh.

Dean is preceded in death by: wife, Diane Webb-Perry; his beloved friend, Laura Montiel; parents, Ed and Jesse Perry; siblings: Junior Perry, Robert Perry, Louis Hennington, Junie Perry, Wilma Perry, Betty Perry, Lucille McClish, and Zeta Nail; and sister-in-law, Diana Perry.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
