Coetta "Cody" Ree Holden

Coetta "Cody" Ree Holden of Lindsay was born on July 14, 1954 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Howard and Bernice (Farrow) Swindell. She passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years.

Cody lived in Lindsay most of her life where she graduated from Lindsay High School in 1972. She loved her family and cooking for them and her favorite was New Orleans style dishes. She liked reading and playing games on her Kindle. Cody and Bobby loved traveling and seeing the sights of America on their trips. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and loving on her cats. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Gray of Lindsay; son, Chad Mayhue and wife Dacia of Moore; daughter, Darci Walker and husband Casey of Oklahoma City; step-daughter, Jennifer Holden of Moore; grandchildren, Nadia Stanley and husband Brooklyn of Norman, Erica Mayhue of Norman, Emma DeArman of Davis, Jillian Mayhue of Moore, Donnie Hines, James Hines, Ivy Henderson, Gavin Walker, Braxton Walker, all of Oklahoma City; great granddaughter, Jackie Mayhue of Norman; brothers, Gary Swindell of Duncan and Frank Swindell; and sister, Linda Jones of Pauls Valley.

Cody was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Jackie Holden; son, Josh Mayhue; sisters: Bobbi Shoemake, Joan Smith, and Donna Swindell.

Memorial services will be held at Winans Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3rd 2022 at 2:00p.m. with Mike Somers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
