Cindy Kay Horner

Cindy Kay Horner was born on July 2, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK to Harvey Grover Campbell and Mary Francis (Hooks) Campbell. She passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at her home in Moore at the age of 68 years.

In the 1980's Cindy lived in Maysville and worked at Pat's Plants as a florist. She graduated from Southern Arkansas Community College in 1996 with an Associate of Arts Degree and was on the Dean’s Honor Roll all the way through college. She also worked in the financial aid office for 8 years. In 2005 Cindy and Darrell moved back to Maysville and she went to work at the Lindsay Municipal Hospital as an administrative assistant where she worked for 15 plus years. A few years after Darrell passed away, Cindy met John Horner and they got married. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with John. She was a huge OU fan and liked to decorate with OU memorabilia. Cindy loved her great granddaughter, Hattie. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by a sister, Faye Craig, her son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Docia Winn, Ft.Worth, TX.

Cindy is preceded in death by: her parents, Harvey and Mary Campbell; Brothers: Doyle Campbell, Harvie Campbell, and George Campbell; sister, Bobbie McCracken; and nephews, Todd LeClaire (Bobbie’s son) and Auddie Campbell (George’s son).

Graveside Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home. Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
