June 2, 1935 — April 23, 2023

Charles Wayne Wallace was born June 2, 1935 to Charlie and Lucille Wallace at Woodford, Oklahoma.  He was raised West of Davis, Oklahoma and attended Woodford School where he graduated.

Charles loved ranching and worked all over the Arbuckle Mountains including the Lazy S Ranch at Springer, Oklahoma.  He helped paint the rock on the mountain that says, “Lazy S”.

Charles met the love of his life Betty Jean Jensen and they were married October 11, 1958.  He and Betty moved to Loco, Oklahoma where Charles worked on the Phill Lowery Ranch.  Betty wanted to move back home where she was raised down the Wallville road and attended Hughes School.  Charles quit ranching and went to work for Steve Hall Oil Company, where he worked for 27 years hauling gas.  An accident caused Charles to retire.

Charles loved his family, grandchildren and greats. Charles and Betty loved to travel and  play cards and dominoes with friends.
