Carolyn Jean (Ervin) Snow

Carolyn Jean (Ervin) Snow was born on November 7, 1954 in Black Oak, Arkansas to Billy Gearld Ervin and Janie (Mize) Kappes. She passed from this life on March 5, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years.

Carolyn had been a resident of the Maysville area for approximately 15 years. She had worked at different nursing homes as a caregiver and enjoyed helping the residents in any way she could. Carolyn loved spending time with her family. She was always crazy about her dogs. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Allen Richey and Travis Patton; daughters, Tracy Richey and Tina Choate.
Mother, Janie Kappes; sister, Karen Fogle and brother, Kevin Kappes.
Grandchildren: Tyler Fanning, Bryce and Lexi Choate, Micael, Alyssa, Cerena and Terri Richey; and Griffin and Sydney Slane.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Snow; father, Billy Gearld Ervin; sister, Angela Denise Ervin; step-father, Jack Kappes; and grandparents, Wilber and MaLinda Ervin and Frank & Lillie Mize.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Maysville Cemetery with Bro. Mark Hodges officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
