Bobby Jean Plaster

Bobby Jean Plaster of Ardmore was born April 12, 1933 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Jobert and Rowene Clarissa (McBride) Plaster and passed from this life on Monday, April 6, 2020 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

Bobby grew up in Maysville with his seven other siblings. He served his country in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany for three years. After he was discharged, Bobby moved to Oklahoma City and worked in electrical plating at Tinker Field. During his lifetime he also worked as a carpenter. He had been a resident of Ardmore for the last 40 years where he enjoyed hanging out at the Senior Citizens Center and playing dominoes. He was a very talented artist who could draw extremely well.

His survivors include his nieces, nephews, and other members of the family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike, Herman, and R. T. Plaster; and sisters, Georgia Plaster, Dorothy McGee, Lois DeArman, Pearly Pratt, and an infant sister.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Maysville Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
