Betty Jayne Randol was born on October 30, 1939, in Whitebead, Oklahoma to W. N. and Ethyl (Tomlinson) Park and passed away with her family at her side on February 19, 2024, in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years.

Betty graduated from Maysville School.  On May 10, 1959, Betty married Charles “Chuck” Randol in Marietta, Oklahoma.  They made their home in the Maysville area where they raised their children.

Betty worked several jobs over the years.  Some of those jobs include working for the NAIC through the episcopal church, at Storms Plastics, and being a waitress.

Betty had many hobbies.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and square dancing.  She spent many Friday and Saturday nights dancing with her friends, Geri and Dorcie.  (My the good times they had.)  Betty enjoyed traveling and she made the best cakes.  She even taught some cake decorating classes.  Betty was also a proud member of the Red Hatters Club.  She enjoyed the time with the ladies and the trips they took together.  Betty was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Betty’s faith was important to her.  She had been a member of the Maysville First Baptist Church since 1971.  

Betty loved her family, and they were very important to her.  Betty cherished the time they spent together.  Betty was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend.   She will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Betty’s honor to the Maysville Alumni Association.

Survived by: her daughter, Mary Kaye Park and Denny of Maysville, Oklahoma; grandson, Mike Park and Crystal; great grandson, Hayden Park; brother, Tommy Park and Paula of Lubbock, Texas; stepson, Jim Randol and Ginger of Maysville, Oklahoma; other family members: Nathan and Kylie Taylor and family, Kevin and Melissa Randol and family, and Shane Randol and family; and numerous friends.

Preceded by: her parents, W. N. And Ethyl Park; husband, Charles Randol; sister, Linda Kay and stepson, Russ Randol.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Maysville First Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Randol officiating.  Burial at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
