Allen Wayne Dorman

Allen Wayne Dorman fell asleep in death April 30, 2026 at the age of 74. He was born in Marlow, Oklahoma on October 13, 1951 to Glen and Marie Dorman. Allen was the oldest of 6 children, Cheryl, Judy, Carolyn, Mike, and Tony. He married Linda Walck on March 11, 1972 and they had 3 children, Aime’e (George Herr), Kendall (Jennipher), and Aaron (Tyra).

He was proceeded in death by his parents Glen and Marie, Sister Carolyn, Brother Mike and Granddaughter Jezreel.

He lived with his family and raised his children in Soldotna, Alaska. Allen enjoyed being a volunteer firefighter serving his community. He worked and then found success in the Alaska oilfield, retiring as a Foreman for Chevron. He was able to see his children grow, get married, and build their families.

He was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Keera, Jezreel, Blaize, Abraham, Miranda, Sophia, and Luke. He also had 3 great grandchildren, Bryxton, George and Argo.

Allen always took care of his family. No matter where he was, he always did what was necessary to be there for them. Allen’s heart extended well past his family, touching the hearts of those he had the pleasure of meeting. He will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at North Burns Cemetery, Burns Flat, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma.
