Grant Edward Hatfield

Grant Edward Hatfield of Maysville was born on March 18, 1960 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Leon Edward and Nora Ruth (Comer) Hatfield. He passed from this life on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Maysville. Grant lived in Maysville all of his life, graduating from Maysville High School in 1978. He was a self-employed carpenter who really enjoyed his work. He always loved being outdoors, and was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved teaching his son those skills. Grant passed along his love of the outdoors to his son, Trent. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his son, Trent Edward Hatfield of Holdenville, Oklahoma. A brother, Todd Leon Hatfield and wife Pam of Maysville, Oklahoma. And nieces and nephews. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Hatfield and Ruth Hatfield Puckett; brother, Troy Lee Hatfield; and a sister, Nita Norene Forkner. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Winans Funeral Home to help defray final expenses. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Abundant Love Fellowship, Maysville, OK with Bro. Brian Frizzell and Bro. Danny Gamble officiating.
