Barbara Sue Holland of Maysville was born on January 9, 1944 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Millard Leo Haley and Bessie Armina (Carroll) Haley. She passed away on June 19, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years. Barbara was a longtime resident of Maysville graduating from Maysville High School in 1962. She married Royce Holland on October 8, 1982 in Gainesville, Texas. During her working years, she was employed for several years by Jigg’s in Maysville. She loved spending time with her family and making them gifts of clothing, blankets, and crafts. She always enjoyed entering her craft projects in the Garvin County Fair every year. Barbara enjoyed taking pictures and was a prankster when it came to her family’s pictures. She liked doing chalk art and had drawn several of the Disney characters. She also enjoyed going on road trips and stopping at the flea markets along the way. She loved spending time outdoors camping and going on nature walks with her grandchildren at Sulphur Park. Barbara was a member of the Shepard’s Chapel in Arkansas. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her husband of 34 years, Royce Holland of the home. A daughter, Susan Spears and husband Eric of Purcell. Sister, Sharon Smith and husband Floyd of Kingston. 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lori Webster; and a brother, Leroy Haley. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Maysville Cemetery with Bro. Tim Carr officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
