Donald “Donnie” Gene Nunley of Lindsay was born on April 19, 1964 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Billy Ray Nunley and Benita Sue (Watson) Woods. He passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Lindsay at the age of 52 years. Donnie lived in Lindsay all of his life. He worked as a truck driver for Sparks Farms and farming. He enjoyed being outdoors, mechanic work, and watching car shows. Donnie loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Nunley and son-in-law John Roberts of Elmore City. Mother, Benita Sue Woods of Annapolis, Missouri. His girlfriend, Connie Cowley of Lindsay. Brothers: David Nunley and Linda McCarty of Maysville; James Ray Nunley and wife Marie of Longdale. Sisters: Sondra Silven and husband Rex of Annapolis, Missouri and Junetta Rolen of Purcell. Step-children: Matthew Cowley and wife Darla of Lindsay; Jason Cowley of Woodward; and Jennifer Cowley of Gardner, Kansas. And 26 grandchildren. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Nunley and sister, Glenda Nunley. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in the Erin Springs Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
