Peggy Sue Williams

Peggy Sue Williams was born on December 22, 1946 in Perryville, Arkansas to Williams Greenberry Hatley and Anna Inez (fletcher) Hatley. She passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in her home at the age of 69 years. Peggy moved from Graham, Texas to Maysville in 2002. Most of her life she was a homemaker, but she had also worked at the Maysville Gas and Go, where people enjoyed visiting with her. She who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Peggy raised exotic birds, fish, horses, and even trained horses. The community was very important to her and she was always working to make life better for the children in Maysville, such as raising money for a skate park. Peggy enjoyed all aspects of social work and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Her survivors include her daughters: Sheila Ann Teague and husband Joe of Maysville and Catherine Williams and Glynn Sloan of Maysville. Daughter-in-law, Tamara Williams of Chickasha. Sisters, Willie Ann Tucker and husband Junior of Arkansas. Seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Hatley; husband, John Bill Williams; son, John Paul Williams; a brother, William Leonard Hatley; and sisters, Ruby Catherine Young and Joyce Bower. A register book for visitors to sign is available at Winans Funeral Home on Friday, October 28 and Monday, October 31. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
