Jimmy Paul Davis

Jimmy Paul Davis of Oklahoma City was born on May 31, 1934 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Cecil Davis and Lucille (Smith) Davis. He passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years. Jimmy grew up in the Antioch community attending school in Elmore City and graduating from there in 1953. He married Freda Harper on March 25, 1960 in Elmore City. He was a resident of Oklahoma City for over 50 years. Jimmy worked as a self-employed barber for many years. He was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Freda of the home. Sons: Jerry Davis of Oklahoma City and Jeffery B. Davis of Durant. A daughter, Gayla M. Diveley and husband Geff of Arizona. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Glen, Berl, George, and Perry Davis. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Antioch Cemetery with Dr. Douglas Melton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
