Beverly Kay Strong

Beverly Kay Strong of Elmore City was born on August 27, 1954 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Gerald Dean Strong and Yvonne (Crabb) Strong. She passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years. Beverly had lived in Garvin County all of her life, graduating from Lindsay High School in 1972. While in school she always made good grades and played basketball in high school. She was known to keep a journal and always found humor in whatever was happening, and she never felt sorry for herself. Beverly enjoyed the outdoors, having a good time with her friends, and loved music of all kinds. She liked the family get-togethers at grandma’s house with all her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survivors include her mother Yvonne Shico of Elmore City. Sons: Nick Gray and wife Crissy of Moore and Zack Gray and Jennifer Holden of Oklahoma City. Sisters: Renee Watson and husband Greg of Lindsay and Lisa Strong of Lindsay. Grandchildren: Shelby Gray and Jaxon Gray. and other relatives. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Dean Strong. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 20, 2014 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel.
