Carl Loyd White

April 17, 1937 — April 2, 2014

Carl Loyd White of Maysville was born on April 17, 1937 in Garvin Springs, Oklahoma to Archie Aaron White and Hazel Mae (Jensen) White.  He passed away on April 2, 2014 in Oklahoma City at the age of 76 years.Carl lived in the Maysville and Lindsay area all of his life. While growing up, he attended Garvin Springs School.  He married Hazel White in 1955 and to this union was born four children: Carol, Beverly, Carlton, and Terry.  Carl later was united with Linda Jackson and her three sons, where he lived until he went to be with the Lord.  He was a “Jack of All Trades” and a master of everything that he put his hands on. He loved to fish, mechanic, and it seemed that he was a hoarder of lawn mowers, but he always said you never know what spare part you might need.  In his younger years Carl worked at the electric plant in Lindsay.  Later, he became self-employed and recruited his children in this endeavor of hauling wood to the paper mill in Pryor and trimming trees for the public.  He loved people and he loved to make them laugh.  He would tell a joke, look at you to see if you were laughing and then tell it again.  Carl had a big heart and he will be greatly missed by all.  He was affiliated with the Holiness Church.Survivors include his wife Linda of the home in Maysville.Daughters: Carol Horner and husband Richard of Lindsay; and Beverly Crites and husband John of Maysville.Sons: Carlton White and wife Becky of Lindsay; Terry White and wife Tonya of Lindsay; Butch Trout of Maysville; Mark Trout of Maysville; and Bobby Trout and wife Cindra of Maysville.Sister, Irene McClish of Maysville.Brother, Robert White of Pauls Valley.Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.Carl was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Hazel White; brothers: Clifford, Doyle, Alfred, Leroy, Tony, Ed, and Harold White; and a sister Darlene Bray.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 7, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Rev.
