Hance "Ed" Edward White

Hance Edward “Ed” White of Pauls Valley was born on November 4, 1933 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Archie Aaron White and Hazel Mae (Jensen) White. He passed from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in his home at the age of 80 years old. Ed had lived in Garvin County all of his life and attended Hughes School. He married Redonia Mendoza in 1964. Ed was a self-employed trucker who hauled hay and cotton. He loved fishing and gardening and could always be found at the local coffee shop. Ed was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his wife Redonia of the home in Pauls Valley. Sons: Aaron White and wife Shawna; Randy Moore; and Jackie Arnold all of Pauls Valley. Daughters: Velma Shoals of California; Sharon Bray Mills of Oklahoma City; Delina Arnold of Pauls Valley; Ruth Ann Pyle and Dennis Adams of Pauls Valley; Terri Moors and husband Terry of Pauls Valley; Lisa Spires and husband Shawn of Pauls Valley. Brothers: Robert White of Pauls Valley; and Carl White of Maysville. Sister, Irene McClish of Maysville. 28 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren. And a host of other relatives and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Hazel White; daughter Lameta White; son Eddie Dean White; brothers: Clifford, Doyle, Alfred, Leroy, Tony, and Harold White; and a sister Darlene Bray. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Bro. Jimmy Dehart and Bro. Billy Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
